My name is Firey Mule.  I was worried when I was in the pet store.  Then a kind woman named Miss Blessing bought me and gave me to a kind boy named Bug.

He made my home, and here are some of the things I really liked.  The races were my favorite thing!  Bug put me onto his ruler, and I won!  We had our big race, and I won again!

Then I began my metamorphosis.    I am not moving now because I am in my pupal stage.  I am turning quite black, but I am still cute.  I predict that I am going to be a little moth.

 

The Northern Pike is a beautiful fish in the Lord’s creation. It is a fish because it has gills, fins, and scales. It lives in all kinds of freshwater like deep lakes, shallow ponds and muddy rivers. The most unique characteristic of the northern pike is that it has teeth on the roof of its mouth, or its tongue, and in its throat. This makes it a skillful predator!

Once upon a time, there was a northern pike.  His name was Long Tooth, and his last name was Northern.  He was one of the most scary, meanest, northern pikes in the world!  He weighed one million pounds!  He once ate five little girls at once!

Long Tooth made up a plan.  “I will eat all the fishermen!” he thought.

So the next day, he woke up and went to the shallows and ate a big breakfast.  He checked to see if there were any people, and there were.  So he went to the fishing line and bit it and pulled.  So the fisherman reeled it in, but when he pulled, Long Tooth pulled him down and ate his arm.  The fisherman died as Long Tooth’s lunch.
