I learned that dogs are very friendly. Zander liked me because he licked my lips, eye, and ear. I learned that a dog, if it got hurt while running not at a checkpoint, it would have to ride in the little sack that zips up. I know that the Iditarod is 1,049 miles! The winner of this year’s was Mitch Seavey! The second place winner was Alley Zirkel! The third place winner was Jeff King! Thank you for coming to teach us all about mushing, Ms. Richardson!
